Mr. Johnstone

My name is Wayne Johnstone. I’m happy to be teaching physical education at Washington Elementary school. I will be teaching kindergarten through 5^th grades using the Physical Essentials curriculum.

 

Previously I taught physical education, health and weight training at Junction City High school. During that time I was head volleyball coach(3 years), school improvement team co-chair(5 years), department chair(1year) and earned a master degree from Kansas State University in secondary education classroom technology. Before that I taught physical education for 17 years at a variety of schools in USD 475. I’ve coached T-ball, softball, basketball, volleyball and tennis throughout the years.

 

I enjoy construction, woodworking, traveling, playing and watching sports.
