2nd Grade

Mrs. Fox

This will be my 3^rd year teaching at Washington Elementary and my 2^nd year in 2^nd grade.  I graduated from K-State and love anything and everything that has to do with the Wildcats!!!  My summer was very busy because I just got married!  I made a major change to my name…from Fruechting to Fox.  My husband also teaches 2^nd grade in the district, and we have one “child”, our dog Rocky.

 

I think 2^nd grade is a very exciting year because there are so many new things to learn!  Your student will start reading longer books, maybe even some with chapters!  We will also work very hard to learn addition and subtraction with regrouping.  With all of these new skills to learn, practice at home is so important.  Please feel free to call or e-mail me at school if you ever have any questions.  And of course, I always love when parents can drop by!  I look forward to working with you to provide your child with the best education possible.
